Graduated from the CPE Lyon engineering school in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering applied to the environmental processes in 2019, Maxime pursued the topic of his master's internship within the CATREN team (IRCE Lyon) under the supervision of Dorothée Laurenti, working on the functionalization of bio-sourced unsaturated dicarboxylic acids. He then worked for the Start'up Mecaware, on the selective precipitation metals from end-of-life batteries, by CO2 sourced chemistry. This work led to a PhD thesis which began in July 2021.
The CSAp group's research theme is supramolecular chemistry. With Julien Leclaire, he is particularly interested in thermodynamics as well as the study of compounds and assemblies formed during CO2 capture by polyamines, but also in the application of these dynamic systems to the separation of transition metals.
