Bio

After a thesis defended at the University of Rennes 1 in 1996 and post-doctoral fellow in the Pr. Dr. R. W. Hoffmann group at the University of Marburg (Germany), I joined the group of Pr. R. J. P. Corriu at the University of Montpellier 2 in September 1998 as associated professor. In 2002, I moved to the ICBMS institute at the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1. And in 2003, I received the Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches diploma.

Research interests

During the last 10 years, my research topics are the valorization of bioresources (D-glucose and D-glucosamine), catalysis in non-usual media with the heterogenization of organometallic complexes on silica or on organic resins, and the chemistry of dipyrromethenes (DPM) used for the recognition of anions, the preparation of mesoionic carbenes, the synthesis of ligands for carbonation of epoxides or for luminescence supramolecular chemistry.
