Bio

Rodolphe obtained his master’s degree in the University of Lyon (CPE Lyon and UCBL). During his studies at CPE Lyon, he did a gap year in Berlin within Bayer working on medicinal chemistry. Then, he complete his master thesis in CASYEN group under the supervision of Dr. Anis TLILI (ICBMS, Lyon) on the valorization of CO2 on aryl halides via electrochemistry. Currently, he is working in the same team as a PhD student on the synthesis of polyols via reactive extrusion under the direction of Dr. Estelle METAY (ICBMS, Lyon) and Dr. Véronique BOUNOR-LEGARE (IMP, Lyon).

Research interests

Throughout his thesis project, Rodolphe is trying to combine the advantages of extrusion (Neat, continues process, short residence time) to organic chemistry in order to fulfill some industry’s requirements. His works currently focus on the synthesis of polyols via reactive extrusion.
