Organic Synthetic MethodMechanism / Reactivity

The research carried out in this theme concerns: (i) studies of the structure-reactivity relationships of catalytic systems involving transition metals and organometallic reagents, (ii) the exploration of reaction mechanisms for the detailed understanding of elementary steps: kinetic monitoring and identification of reaction intermediates; (ii) the rational development of new catalytic approaches and new transformations. These projects are carried out by combining experimental (NMR, IR, EPR, electrochemistry, DRX, XAS) and theoretical (ab initio molecular modeling, kinetic integration) approaches.
