Several teams are developing Medicinal Chemistry projects, i.e. the design and optimization of molecular structures (small molecules or more elaborated scaffolds), with therapeutic and chemobiological applications. Several strategies could be developped and use advantage of key informations from structure-activity relationship studies, screening campaigns, the diversity of products of natural origin, and measurements of ligand/protein interactions using different techniques, such as X-ray diffraction, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Surface Plasmon Resonance, Isothermal Calorimetric Titration or Mass Spectrometry.
