Dr Thierry BILLARD

Bio

Thierry Billard obtained an engineer diploma from CPE Lyon and his master degree from University of Lyon. He carried out his Ph.D. on fluorine chemistry with B. Langlois (University of Lyon, France), a postdoctoral research in medicinal chemistry with L. Ghosez (University of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) and has completed an industrial postdoctoral stay (Rhone-Poulenc, now Solvay). Afterwards, he joined CNRS in ICBMS (Lyon), where he was appointed research Director.

Research interests

His research activities are interdisciplinary involving chemistry and medicine with a focus on fluorine chemistry, medicinal chemistry, radiochemistry and their applications in medical imaging and neurosciences.
